Recommended outfits for Oak Bollywood Auction**

Women:

1.    Saree:  This outfit consists of 3 pieces (short top, a skirt, and 5-yard saree) A saree is draped around and is the most elegant Indian wear.  Sarees are associated with grace and come in many designs/colors/ patterns.  (It can be slightly tricky to dance in a saree, but not impossible).

2.    Lehenga:  This outfit consists of 3 pieces (long or short top, long flowing skirt, scarf).  Lehengas are beautiful, easy to move around in and perfect for dancing. 

3.    Anarkali suit: This outfit consists of 3 pieces (long frock-style top, leggings, scarf).  Anarkali is the easiest outfit to wear and very comfortable.

4.    Formal evening dress:

Men:

1.    Kurta Pajama: This outfit consists of 3 pieces (kurta, pajama, optional scarf). Kurta is a loose long shirt reaching to the knees; pajama is a lightweight trouser. Though mostly worn on formal occasions, kurta pajama can also be worn casually.

2.   Formal evening wear: 

**Western wear is completely acceptable and very welcome for the evening.  The most important part of the evening is to be comfortable and have fun!  Bollywood is very colorful, so don’t forget to bring your colors and smiles!
